General Ledger Manager

 


South Louisiana Community College is seeking a

General Ledger Manager. Applicants that wish to apply must meet the following minimum qualifications:

 


Bachelor's degree in accounting required. CPA preferred. Minimum of five years prior experience in accounting. Knowledge of general accepted accounting and auditing principles, governmental accounting principles and practices, and their application to accounting-finance setting. Ability to perform technical accounting and ledger maintenance assignments; analyze and evaluate accounting and auditing problems, and able to remain organized in a fast-pace environment. Extensive personal computer skills with emphasis on spreadsheet and accounting type software. Knowledge of Banner preferred.
